We Are Now Festival

Hack your everyday: Plug in your headphones. Switch on your phone. Press Play.

We Are Now is a new London festival that celebrates hacking everyday technologies in performance arts, presenting work that invites audiences to play, interact and create.

A partnership between Roundhouse and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, We Are Now provides a platform to support and showcase the most exciting emerging work in this field. In this inaugural year, We Are Now takes a focus on sonic art, sound, and performance that converges and subverts the devices you use everyday.

From 10 – 12 June at the Roundhouse, the Festival features live performances and playful installations by emerging international companies and up-and-coming artists from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London, HKU University of the Arts, Utrecht and the Interactive Architecture Lab from The Bartlett School of Architecture.

Hear from renowned professionals, who are trailblazers in this new field of arts performance, with presentations and workshops from Invisible Flock, Blast Theory’s, Matt Adams and an entire morning focused on ‘How To Produce Your Own work’, geared towards supporting artists at all stages of their careers.
